How it Works
At Weight Loss For Kids we are democratizing health and wellness and bringing credible, effective, and sustainable weight loss programs to teens and children.

A Personalized, Concierge Approach to Medical Weight Management
Choosing the right doctor for your child's weight management is an important decision. You want a physician who truly understands the complexities of weight regulation and provides solutions that are both compassionate and science-based.
I work with families who are committed to finding real, long-term solutions and who are looking for a doctor that will be their trusted partner in this journey.
Since I only take on a limited number of clients to ensure high-quality, personalized care, I offer a free introductory call to determine if this is the right fit for both of us.
Free Introductory Call
Before taking on a new client, I offer a free introductory call to determine if we’re a good fit.
Comprehensive Intake
You will complete a detailed intake questionnaire covering medical history, previous weight management efforts, and any relevant family history.
In-Person Consultation
A mandatory comprehensive evaluation completed in person.
Medication Management
If we determine that medication is a good option for your child, we will schedule a visit to discuss medications.
Ongoing Support
Follow-up visits are tailored to each family’s needs
Ensure a Good Fit
Before taking on a new client, I offer a free introductory call to determine if we’re a good fit. I keep my practice small to provide the highest level of care, and this call helps ensure that I can give each patient the attention they deserve.
How We Start
A discussion of your child’s history and your goals for treatment.
An overview of how my practice works and what to expect moving forward.
An opportunity to ask questions and determine if this is the right path for your family.

In-Person Consultation
The first visit is a comprehensive evaluation and must take place in person at Discover Health in San Francisco (Los Angeles visits may be available if enough demand exists).
What Happens at the First Visit
Full review of your child’s weight history
Exploration of underlying factors – We discuss metabolic testing, genetic testing, lab work, and specialist referrals where necessary.
Create a personalized plan. Every child is unique, and we’ll determine the next steps together.
Initial Discussion of Medication Management – If together we decide that medication may be an appropriate option, we will schedule a separate Medication Management Visit to go over the details before starting treatment.
Medication Management
If we determine that medication is a good option for your child, we will schedule a dedicated visit to discuss medications in detail before prescribing. This ensures that families feel fully informed and confident in their decision

What we know (and don’t know) about duration of treatment
What we know (and don’t know) about long-term use in teens

Follow-up and Ongoing Support
